Release Engineer

Are you interested to be part of the releases to our customers? Do you want to contribute to release automation? Do you have an interest in processes? Then this is the right place for you!

What will you do?

In this role you will be part of an agile team that works with Release, Problem and Change Request Management Processes. We would like to further develop, automate, communicate these processes as well as visualizing relevant key performance indicators. Together with you, we will enable high quality releases as well as providing efficient tools and methods for release, problem and change request management processes. You will also work closely with feature developers, quality and safety related teams and other stakeholders.

A work week in this team could contain:

  • Enabling efficient flow of release, problem and change request management processes
    • Collect feedback
    • Discuss process requirements, specifications and quality/safety standards (ASPICE, ISO26262, SOTIF)
    • Brainstorming and developing solutions
    • Automate our processes
    • Communicate and provide support to others
  • Assembling ready-to-be-released software and related documentation that needs to be released to the customer
  • Reporting and monitoring KPIs to all stakeholders
  • Presenting the work that the team is doing into different fora with internal and external stakeholders
  • Addressing improvements and presenting solutions to the company

We see that you have:

    • High academic background, preferably a MSc in engineering
    • Experience with software development within the automotive industry
    • Programming skills in Python
    • Process development interest and a familiarity with Release, Problem and Change Request Management Processes
    • Good to be familiar with SystemWeaver, but not a must

Personality-wise we would love to see that you have great communication skills, a solution driven mindset, you enjoy collaboration with other team members, teams and stakeholders. Flexible-remote way of working: Zenseact has a flexible and modern approach, thus is happy to offer to its employees the possibility for a combination of work at the office and from home. This doesn't include fully remote work from outside Sweden/China.
