Are you a Software Developer experienced in setting up and designing Hardware-In-Loop-Riggs and would like to contribute to software that is going to save millions of lives? Then maybe this could be the job and organization for you. We are releasing our OnePilot this autumn, which is a historic release for Zenseact and the field of Autonomous Driving - where data collection is a big part of the development and safety. To enable the data and testing of the software, we now need you as an addition to Team Syster!
Who are we?
At Zenseact we perform extensive verification and validation in a SIL (software-in-the-loop) and HIL (hardware-in-the-loop) environment that we believe will make us winners in this race towards making autonomous vehicles a reality. The Product Area: Product Enablers is the part of Zenseact that develops the framework for this, including a simulation environment with both pre-recorded data and data created solely for simulation purposes.
The Syster team is designing and setting up new HIL machines. We also design and program an automatic test framework that relates to HIL in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD). This is done using Python. Another part of our daily work is to troubleshoot and support feature developers that use the test framework. We also collaborate with other teams to develop a common test framework (SIL, Vehicle, etc.)
We are a team of three, that now has the ambition to grow with another two superheroes. Our three superheroes are a mix of junior and senior developers where you will get the opportunity to learn and contribute to the high competence within the team. We work autonomously where trust is one of our company values, setting up our work and having the possibility to work from home two to three days a week.
What more will you get to do?
We provide system test methodologies and infrastructure to enable safe, cost-efficient, and fast product deliveries.
• HIL design for open-loop design and closed-loop on decision and control
• Design and maintain a common system-level test framework
• Deployment of simulation environments on HIL
• Integrate and automate system tests in CI/CD
• Support system test analysis
Who are you?
To be successful in team Syster you should enjoy supporting and cooperating with other teams. In return, you get a lot of appreciation and direct feedback.
- Relevant university degree (e.g. MSc in Computer Engineering)
- Experience from verification using HIL
- Proficient in Python and C++
- Proficient in GIT
- Proficient in Linux
- Fluent in English
If you also have the following, it's a merit:
- Experience from automotive industry
- Experience with CI/CD development tools, such as GoCD.
- Experience with GIT tool Gerrit.
- Knowledge of Pandas/Numpy, Data Analysis and Docker
- Proficient in Agile methodology, especially Scrum and Kanban. Knowledge of SAFe.
- Basic Swedish speaking skills
How do we work?
Flexible-remote way of working: Zenseact has a flexible and modern approach, thus is happy to offer to its employees the possibility for a combination of work at the office and from home. This doesn't include fully remote work from outside Sweden/China.
More about Zenseact
Zenseact’s purpose is to make safe and intelligent mobility real, for everyone, everywhere. We develop the complete software stack for ADAS and AD, from sensing to actuation. Our focus is to build a single cutting-edge software platform in order to serve various levels of autonomy and offer unequaled scalability at the same time. We operate out of Gothenburg, Sweden, and Shanghai, China. Zenseact’s first self-driving deployment will be launched on the next-generation vehicle platform from Volvo Cars.
Self-driving cars, when real, is estimated to reduce fatal car accidents with more than 85%, saving more than 50,000 persons from dying in car accidents caused by human errors each year. We feel that is a goal worth pursuing.
But technology, software, tools and datasets would not mean much without the best people behind the wheel to drive them. At Zenseact, some five hundred of the best engineering minds globally, stationed across two continents, are collaborating with the same passion: to bring autonomous driving to the streets for real and create a safer journey for everyone. This is part of our culture and how we work, develop and grow together.
Zenseact works proactively to create a culture of diversity and inclusion, where individual differences are appreciated and respected. To drive innovation we see diversity as an asset, which means we value and respect differences in gender, race, ethnicity, religion or other belief, disability, sexual orientation or age etc.
Interviews are held on a continuous basis, so we highly recommend that you submit your application at your earliest convenience.
