IT Onsite Support Technician

Your Role

We are Team GPS at Zenseact.  Our purpose is to provide “Guidance & Problem Solving for the best experience to our end users”. We are looking for a team member who wants to help us develop the best IT-support and shares our goals and values. Example of your day-to-day tasks can be:

  • End - user Support
  • IT Hardware Management (end-user equipment)
  • Configuration of Clients (such as phones, laptops, Virtual Machines)
  • Mobile Phone Services Management (such as SIM cards ordering)
  • Incident Management 
  • Co-operation with our office in China
  • Continuous improvements of our support processes, including documentation, automation and ad-hoc support procedures
  • Handle remote support
  • Printer and print service support

 

Experience

Zenseact has a multiplatform environment (Windows/Mac OS/Linux), so it is necessary to have experience in supporting this type of development atmosphere with an emphasis on Linux since our users are mainly working with Linux. To be successful in this role you should also have practical experience of Microsoft Office applications, knowledge of how O365 works, laptop/desktop and general hardware technical knowledge. Additionally, you should have experience of local area network setups and maintenance (switches, routers, and wireless access points). It is a must to be able to communicate (both written and verbal) and give support in English. We also believe that you are a customer oriented and outgoing person with great social skills with the ability to manage customer expectations, for example, following up and tracking issues/requests.

In addition, we believe you meet the following requirements: 

  • IT related education or experience from similar work
  •  Minimum 2 years of experience from similar role
  •  Enjoy working in an international organization with people from different cultures

 Flexible-remote way of working: Zenseact has a flexible and modern approach, thus is happy to offer to its employees the possibility for a combination of work at the office and from home. This doesn't include fully remote work from outside Sweden.
